General Questions

Do you have a minimum order?

No, if we supply the garments, we print anything from a one off upwards. If you supply your own garments for printing, we do have a minimum order of 12.

 

What is your turn around time?

We try to complete orders within 10 days to 2 weeks, but at very busy times, this may be longer. If your job is urgent, please contact us as we may be able to fit it in.

 

Do you offer art services?

Yes, or alternatively you may supply your own.

 

Do you require a deposit?

On new orders we require 50% up front, and the balance at the time of collection or delivery.

 

Do I have to come in to place an order?

No, you can also place your order by phone, fax or email, but many people find it preferable to place an order face to face.

 

How many colors can you print?

We can print up to five colours on each garment.

 

Can customers proof the final product before printing?

Yes, if you ask to do so.

 

Do you deliver?

We can deliver to local customers for a small charge, or you may collect your goods. Non local customers will have goods despatched by mail.

Technical Questions

What format should artwork be submitted in?

For simple designs of one or two colours, we canworkfromablacxk and white photocopy, print out etc. For more complex designs, we would require camera ready artwork, colour separated. All artwork should be as close to size as possible.

 

Can artwork be submitted on a disk or e-mailed?

Yes, but it is advisable to confirm that we have compatible software.

 

What computer programs do you use?

Corel Draw, Corel Printhouse and Photoshop 4.0.

 

Do you need colour separations?

Yes. Multi-colour images need to be mechanically colour separated (each colour printed in black and white on a separate sheet of paper or film). If you don't have the means to produce separations, we can provide them for a fee.

 

How big can an image be printed?

The maximum print area on adult size shirts is A3 size (approx. 12" wide x 16" high.)

 

Can customers supply their own screens?

No

 

Do customers own their screens?

No, the screen fee is a labour charge which covers the set-up of the screen.

Questions About Products

 

Do you only print t-shirts?

No, we also print sweatshirts, golf shirts, jackets, team shirts, shorts, aprons and many other items.

 

Do you sell unprinted items?

We can supply unprinted items in small quantities.

 

What brands do you use?

We mainly use Fruit Of The Loom, but we can also supply other brands, such as Jersees, Kustom Kit etc.

 

Do you have a price list?

Yes, please feel free to e-mail or ring and we can have a price list sent to you.

 

Do you sell pre-printed shirts?

We do sometimes sell a few shirts with our own designs on.

 

What sizes are available?

Most items are available in adult sizes S (36-38), M (40-42), L (44), XL (48), XXL (50-52), and children's sizes 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-11 and 12-13.

 

What's the difference between 50/50 and 100% cotton?

The all cotton shirts are heavier, but both are quality shirts as far as printability, shrinkage and fading.

  

Do you have samples ?

Yes, if you wish to ring us, we can arrange for you to see the samples.
